Fusing Learning with Technology
How do we make sure that as new technology becomes available that we don’t lose focus on the learning? Fusing learning with technology the correct way can open the door to creativity, collaboration, communication, and so much more, but we must make sure that we remember that technology is a tool, not the goal. Here is my plan to help teachers properly fuse learning with technology.

Innovation Proposal
My innovation proposal will be presented to the administration and the teachers to explain the plan to them and why we need it.

Literature Review
While researching blended learning, I was intrigued by how long it has been implemented in education. Using technology in a 1:1 environment is new to my district and researching the ways it has been utilized previously has been beneficial. I was able to learn about some potential problems, things that worked, and how to properly implement blended learning.

Implementation Outline
My timeline for implementation is currently about 2.5 years. I will start with research, creating a team, and surveying students and teachers. We will then move into piloting the plan with a select group of high school teachers for a semester followed by a semester of ful high school implementation. Finally, we will move into district wide implementation. The plan will consistently be reviewed and adjusted based upon feedback and observations.
