Creating a Significant Learning Environment

Creating a significant learning environment is critical in giving your learners the best environment to learn. Creating the correct learning environment will include taking a look at how the class is set up, where the class is being held, the content of the class and how it is being delivered, and the mindset of both the instructors and the learners. When we make sure that learning is the primary goal of the learning environment we will be able to focus more on what the learners are taking in and less on the grade that they are trying to get. In my innovation plan, making sure that what my classroom teachers learn is more important than if they can just get through my course. The purpose of my innovation plan is to not only guide the teachers in learning how to incorporate technology in their classroom, but also to give them the tools, knowledge, and confidence that they need to continue learning after the course is complete. We all know that teachers, especially since Covid, feel like there is just more and more being put on their plates. I don't want my innovation plan to be "just one more thing". I want the teachers to find value and use it. This is why it's important that I create a learning environment that promotes curiosity, comfort, confidence, and excitement so they will continue to learn once the course has ended.
