My ePortfolio platform...for now at least.

A couple of weeks ago I published a blog post that reflected on my struggle with deciding on which platform to use for my ePortfolio. I spent countless hours researching the questions that I pointed out in that blog post. I quickly realized that if I didn't just make a decision and go forward, I"d be hung up on this struggle forever. I gave myself until the end of that week to make a decision and go forward, and I did. Here is what I decided on with my questions.
If I'm going to make a change to my hosting site should I do it now or later? After research on the different platforms out there I realized that many of the ones that I may upgrade to in the future will assist me with pulling my information over from my ePortfolio. Due to this, I decided to stay with Wix for now and continue to learn the platform. Going forward, I may look into the paid version of Wix or another paid platform.
Do I want to pay for a hosting site or use a free one? As mentioned above, I decided to stay with my current platform which is the free version of Wix. I will continue to research at times for other options and possibly switch to a paid version at a later date.
Do I want to "merge" the site that I've been trying to create for over a year for my training and consulting business or do I want them to be separate? At this time I have decided to keep them separate, mainly because I haven't put a lot of time into the training and consulting business. The main reason for waiting to merge the sites is because I have put the training and consulting business on the back burner while I complete my graduate program.
How much time am I willing to waste on this one struggle? Well, I made myself make an initial decision by the end of that week. I made the decision and was able to move forward with the rest of my class. However, I did realize that while my ePortfolio will continue to grow, I will always be looking at the best way to host it.
I have accepted the fact that while I may have made a choice at this time on my ePortfolio platform, I realize that I will continually be researching different platforms and making decisions on how I want to move forward as long as I have an ePortfolio.
